Plastering and rendering are both the process of covering walls. The main difference in the two practices is that plastering refers to coating the interior walls, whilst rendering is the coating of exterior walls. The major distinction between plastering and rendering is the strength of the materials used in each. Nonetheless plaster and render are both made from the same building materials including, cement, sand, water and lime gypsum
We use building methods such as; dry-lining, rendering, plaster-boarding and metal framework to create a surface ready for plaster application. We achieve a high quality plaster finish on all surfaces using varying products such as multi finish, one coat or traditional lime plasters. Finishes range from the clean sharp modern look to the more traditional curves and rounds.
Internal plastering work covers;
We use a range of different products to create a beautiful finish to the external of a property. These consist of k rend; a more modern self-coloured render with no need to paint which can offer a fantastic look to the build. Lime render; used where needed on older buildings and cottages to allow the property to breath and meet conservation restrictions. Sand and cement render; the standard modern finish which gives a crisp look to the finish of a building.
External rendered walls and ceilings work covers;
CRS pride themselves on producing the highest quality of work, whether it be new build, renovation or listed conservation.
